Today at GFESC, educators participated in Utilizing Screening Data for School-Based Identification of Dyslexia in K–2 and School-Based Identification of Dyslexia in Grades 3–12, led by Elizabeth Reeves. What an incredible day on the GFESC campus! We loved hosting students from Cedarville, County Line, Fort Smith (Ramsey), Lavaca, Ozark, and Paris for an unforgettable theater experience! They watched Theatre Squared's production All Greek to Me " Who served the biggest main character energy….Electra, Medea or Antigone?" Three actresses and a stage manager take you on a wild ride through Ancient Greece where we learn all about the origins of the artform as these strong female leads make a case for their place in theatre history. This show has it all: audience participation, hilarious reenactments and a rap battle royale worthy of the ages! Following the performance, students participated in a lively talkback with the cast—asking some of the most insightful questions—and jumped into an interactive workshop to build their own performance skills! It was a fantastic day full of creativity, energy, and inspiration. Thanks to Karen Grady for hosting this event!
