Day three of GFESC's Chess Tournament brought cold wind and serious JR and Sr High players from Alma, Booneville, Cedarville, Charleston, Lavaca, Greenwood, Mansfield, Mountainburg, Waldron, and Ozark. We had 89 Jr high and 59 senior high players today! How chess has grown in our area!! It was just 6 years ago that we had 6 total players for Jr and Sr high. Huge shout out to our coaches and districts for supporting this growth!! Great sportsmanship was on display today and tight games! ♟️🤍

This collaborative workshop provided valuable updates, resources, and guidance to support GT programs and ensure continued excellence in meeting the needs of gifted learners. Today, Novice Special Education Teachers joined us at the Guy Fenter Education Service Cooperative to kick off a four-day training series designed to support and empower new educators in providing high-quality services to students with disabilities.
⭐️Day 1 topics included- an overview of the most common disabilities, the IEP process, and progress monitoring.

At GFESC today, participants in our eSchool training were guided through the step-by-step process of processing grades and issuing transcripts in eSchool.
